Matched on fabric,
not on screen.

A colour approved on a monitor is not a colour. We match against a physical reference and send you a physical sample, because that is the only comparison that means anything.

How it works

From your reference to bulk.

01

Send a reference

A Pantone TCX or TPX number is ideal. A physical swatch, a garment or a printed sample also works. A hex code or a screenshot is the weakest input and we will tell you so.

02

Lab dip or strike off

Dyed fabrics get a lab dip: the actual fabric dyed to your reference. Sublimated pieces get a printed strike off on the actual base fabric. Either way you are approving the real material.

03

Your approval

You approve, reject or ask for an adjustment against the physical sample. Nothing goes to bulk on an unapproved colour.

04

Bulk with the approved standard

The approved dip or strike off becomes the production standard, and the shade checks during the run measure against it rather than against the original reference.

Where the honest limits are.

The same Pantone reference reads differently on different fabrics. A colour on polyester interlock will not look identical on cotton twill or on a nylon knit, because the fibre takes dye differently and the surface reflects light differently. This is physics, not carelessness.

Where an order spans several fabrics, we match each to the reference and send you all of them together so you can approve the set rather than one piece in isolation. If an exact cross fabric match is critical, tell us at enquiry stage and we will say honestly whether it is achievable in the fabrics you want.

Sublimation prints into polyester and its close relatives. It does not work on cotton or on leather, so on those a different decoration route is quoted instead.

What is included

    Send your Pantone references.

Give us the codes you have to hit and we will tell you what is achievable in the fabric your garment needs.
